Manor Barn • Gislingham

Former barn on the Manor House site. The barn, now converted to a domestic dwelling, is Grade II listed along with its neighbouring outbuildings.

Seen here it's easy to identify as a timber framed construction, with thatched roof. It's got a 19th century tiled roof addition, just visible.

The Manor itself sits behind it, along with remnants of a moat. All private property, no access.

The above image is from the Jeevar Archive and was taken in 1982.

Below is the property today and I have linked the Google earth location, where the modern image comes from.
